Enhanced Function Keys

Simplified F key commands give you access to common tasks, such as New, Open, Close (documents), Reply, Forward, or Send (e-mail). You can also use the standard F key commands - or press the F LOCK key to toggle between the standard and enhanced commands for even more flexibility.

Hot Keys

These special shortcut keys are smartly grouped by command and provide quick, one-press access to frequently-used programs. You can browse the Web, start e-mail, open My Computer - and more - all with the touch of a button. Using Hot Keys can increase your productivity because you don't have to take your hand off they keyboard as frequently - to use a mouse, for example.

More Customizable Keys

Using IntelliType Pro keyboard software (available if not included), you can customize the keyboard to fit your personal working style. You can reassign many of the keys - including the Hot Keys - to open a file or Web page, or to perform a command, such as Find or Print.

Detachable Palm Rest

You can use the palm rest to relax your palms or hands when you are not typing, or you can remove it if that is more comfortable. The detachable palm rest and the adjustable keyboard legs help you work in the position that is right for you.

Sleep & Log Off Hot Keys

Put your computer into 'sleep' mode (such as suspend, standby, or hibernation)* right from your desktop, protecting your data and saving energy. The Log Off Hot Key lets you log off Windows with the press of a button.

*Sleep Hot Key functionality is available if your system supports power management and has it enabled, and if all peripherals are compatible with power management.
